Event Details:

Join us for our Discovery Day event at the Vanderwater Conservation Area on Thursday, August 15 from 10 am to 2 pm.

Activities include:

• 10:30 am & 1:30 pm: Live Birds of Prey Demonstration with FalconEd
• Live Native Reptile Display with Sciensational Sssnakes!!
• 11:30 am: Musical Puppet Show with the Paddling Puppeteer
• 12:30 pm: Indigenous Knowledge Sharing 
• Soap Stone Carving, and other nature crafts and activities
• 11 am - 1 pm: Lunch courtesy of the Madoc Lions Club
• Curated selection of Quinte Conservation, Take A Hike and Depot Lakes Campground merchandise, including apparel, tick keys, blankets and water bottles for purchase.

Discovery Day at Vanderwater is free to attend, including parking. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
