New to the area? Want to learn about this region’s trails, plants, and wildlife? Excited to step into nature but not sure how to get started?

Join Loyalist’s PR & Event Management students and Quinte Conservation for an educational group hike at North Potter’s Creek Conservation Area!

Lindsay, Quinte Conservation’s Outreach and Stewardship Coordinator, will lead you through the forested trails at North Potter’s Creek. She will share hiking tips and tricks to keep you safe out in nature, including how to identify hazardous and invasive plants, as well as the different types of animal species you may encounter and how to dress appropriately for biting insects, like ticks.

Stick around after the hike for refreshments and the chance to mingle and make new friends!

This  event is a fundraiser for Quinte Conservation and proceeds from ticket and raffle sales will support youth outdoor education.
